what are some household items you guys use as lube? I don't feel comfortable going out and buying lube so I usually just use lotion but I'm currently all out. Would it be safe to use crisco??

Vaseline is very popular. Don't use too much, or else it gets very messy. I would prefer that over spit or baby oil any day.

Crisco is cooking fat. I'd go out of my way to say that would be pretty disgusting to rub lard on your penis.

Vaseline is very hard to clean up after you're done, but essentially you can use it because it wouldn't cause harm.

DO NOT use shampoo, as the soap suds can get into your urethra and cause a urinary tract infection. However, hair conditioner or hair gel would work better, as their water-based solutions and will not leave an oily residue or burn your skin.

I've also read somewhere that Miracle Whip (the fake mayonnaise) works well too... it sounds absolutely disgusting, but if you want to try it, it wouldn't cause harm.
