I think, maybe I'll post a picture, after, if this gets any replies, of what I wear, on a daily basis, I kind of want to know other people's opinions, like, can you tell sexuality from clothing, in males I mean? I want to know if you can look at someone, and right away pick that they're gay, or that they're straight, can clothes do that?

Sometimes you can assume, yes, but not always. A "gay person can dress like a straight person". You can have that mean whatever you want it to mean.

@ Nathan haha I wouldn't think your gay. Your just like me. We both get a buncha girls. It's all about looking good. I'm all about matching and girls love that cause they always have fun trying to look better than me. It's nice how you matched the white shoes and belt.

People should be able to dress how they want. Don't worry. Wear whatever you are wearing with confidence and people might actually start following your trends.

a) i think that by asking that you're playing into such conservative ideas of gender and sexuality. you're gay- consider it a blessing that you're able to be outside of the conservative structure and find what makes you feel comfortable
b) i think that the last picture is nice. it's simple and will make your personality rather than your clothing shine. that's what i think clothing should do

no i wouldnt assume your gay, im actually one of those people who are one of the really-dressy-up kind of guys like one day i wore a sleek black vest,a plain white t-shirt and sow rise straight jeans with a matching belt and shoes. People think im gay but i dont care (btw im not) cause i like how i dress.

Don't follow trends too closely. A trend is defined as what is popular at a certain time, but that time is usually a short one.

You can't tell sexuality from clothing, you can take an educated guess though. Gay people actually care about their appearance, isn't that stupid(Oh, that's right, you can't hear my sarcasm)!


I am a big clothes horse, I deal in men's clothing which gives me access to really awesome clothes at wholesale cost, I wear a mix of liberal and traditional conservative. I also like old style, I wear a 1930s style cashmere long coat from Britches Of Georgetown and get comments on it everyday I ware it, like "That's some coat" and "I like that coat kid".

Sometimes I'll were an ascot and an Armani knit shirt, it really makes me stand out, I like it that way! Everyone at school thinks I'm crazy for wearing a jacket everyday.

Personally I think you look ridiculous, and many people do. I challenge you, wear a jacket, dress shirt, belt(black must match shoes) and dress shoes for 1 week and tell me people don't treat you better. It's not what you know, it's who you know and looking good gives people a very good impression of you, especially when you're young, as long as it doesn't look like you just came from a funeral.

well most people think they can tell a Gay person from a Straight person, truth is you prob wont be able to unless they have some article of clothing or accessory on their body that states that they are in fact gay. how do i know these things? lol i wear skin tight jeans and white skinnies with bright colored shirts and jackets, and people automatically assume im gay, which im not hah
