I need some advice

ok so yesterday night i was just on facebook and looking at the "People You May Know" section and my trackpad decided to spaz out so when i clicked on one person that i did know and havnt talked to in three years, the mouse decided to land on someone else out of nowhere. i was just about to hit the back button, actually i thought i knew the kid. he looked very familiar. but it turned out i didnt know him.

His info said interested in: men. so im like: omg i dont know if i should add him and get to know him or just go back to the homepage. i love to meet new people but i never know what to say.

should i just add him and say: Hi. Whats up, my names Anthony. and see what happens from there. he lives close to me and he is friend's with one of my best friends (ill refer to her as MBF = my best friend lol so no confusion)

So i txted MBF earlier today and she never answered back. i was going to say, hey want to hang out. and just have a conversation and i was going to ask about him and all.

if this was some different social networking site, i wouldve added him already and gave him my facebook. lol.

so should i just add him and talk and all and see what happens, or should i ask MBF about him?

It's best to get information about someone first to see if they are really your type. I wouldn't suggest asking him out on the spot. So ask your best friend first and get all the information possible.

asking him out right then and there is a big no no. haha. and not all the info, i would want to get to know him myself too. lol.

Ok so he just accepted my request and I just sent him a message saying hey im ant What's up?

So right now I am so nervous. Haha. Idk how this will go and how long this convo will last for. But wish me luck.

It's always fun for me to get to know somebody new and I would have just said "Hi" and see what happened What happened is you now got a new friend and you are going to be awesomely cool and see where it goes. Don't rush. Don't hold back. Just be you. It will work out one way or another and you can control how fast anything (or nothing) happens.

I sent him a message yesterday and he hasn't answered back. I don't want to keep doing that cause ill start to sound annoying. Lol. And he was online when I sent it.
