For the past week or so my jaw hinge on my right side has actually been pretty sore, not that bad but enough to notice and affect the amount of pressure you can use when eating tough food or whatever. I've never done anything to damage it (fighting etc.) but it's kind of worrying since it's perticularly bad, every so often it would click on my but this just seems worse, it's awkward to fully open my mouth and i can feel the bone really clicking and moving when i do. Could it be simply the way i'm sleeping as i would always sleep on that side of my face? I've also noticed that the jaw muscle on that side is slightly larger than the left since i eat with that side more as well, could these be contributing factors...? Has anyone ever had anything similar?
I've also just noticed that it feels kind of out of place when i close my mouth/teeth if you get me?

You might want to visit your dentist and see if there's traces of grinding while you're sleeping. Have you been stressing a lot lately?

Yes actually an extreme amount due to A levels, but my teeth are fine.

Hrm.. It could be from you sleeping funny, or just a general pain in your jaw. Possibly sensitive nerve endings?

No it's not the type of pain from nerves, i can't pin it to be either muscular or bone. The Sleeping position could be a posibility as i tend to always sleep on that side.
