Mafia (Forum Game)

I am here to introduce a game to this forum that some of you may be aware of. It is called mafia.

The objective of this game is for the Townies (the uninformed majority) to identify the Mafiosos (the informed minority) and lynch them by voting in the thread. The Townies' attempt to figure out who the Mafiosos are by interacting with each other in the game thread.

I will be starting a small and basic game, and once it finishes I will be starting others and gradually introducing more complicated aspects to it.

For the game to function properly I need to be able to send you PMs.

The game goes like this:
each of you will get a p.m. from me, which will say either mafioso or citizen. There will be two mafiosos. the goal of the citizens is to execute the mafiosos, and the mafiosos goal is to kill all the citizens. you don't know who is a mafioso or who is a citizen, but the mafiosos know each other. excuting will happend by open voting, both the mafiosos and the citizens vote, and if you are a mafioso you have no right to reveal your identity. you can try to convince your fellows who to execute or not. every two days in this i'll collect the votes here and name the one who is the executed one, and s\he is out of the game.
gameplay:
When i say "good night town" i'll w8 for the two mafiosos to decide who to kill and give me that name. as soon as i get i write "good morning town, the dear Citizen ____ was murdered." then youll have to vote, after two days\ after everyone voted (depends on what comes first) i'll announce the dead dude.then uncover if s\he was a mafioso or a citizen. then goes the g'night again :) and so until the citizen\mafiosos are all dead ^^

BTW there are lotsss of versions. i know a version with barny the dinosaur, prostitue, doctor and an orange urine sack, but this is the simple version. if it works i can do the funyn one :)
we will start from a night, and i wanted to say i'm realy sorry for the one who gets kicked on the begining, it's not personal, but next time i'll make sure you are not the first dead. sorry again ><

right now it's night.
i w8 for the mafia to tell me who is dead.
after that i say "good morning the citizen ___ was murdered by the mafia". you have two days to convince each other and to vote who we will executed. after you all voted\two days have past (depends on which comes first), i say "the player ___ was exxecuted, his identity was Citizen\Mafioso", and then "good night" again. the citizens try to execute the mafia, though no one know who mafia is. there are two players playing the mafia (i told them already), and they can vote to! the mafia needs all the citizens to die. by killing them at night and voting by day. let's say if the same two people always vote together then they are probably the mafia. you need to convince everyone that you are a citizen, and execute all the mafioso's as a team.

Gооd morning dear citizens. Our dear Fellow "PrinceOfMadness" was murdered by the mafia (or more exactly butchered and his body parts were thrown all raound the middle east and europe, but that's just details)
Now you have time to discuss on the thread. Try to convince each other that you are innocent citizens, and try to find out who are the mobsters. Vote who do you want to execute, and when you all voted i'll announce the dead dude\gal ^^ then there is night again, and the mobsters are gonna butcher one of you. Haha.

I love this game! I'll play on the next round. BuT I used to play it with a 2 mafiosos, one cop and one doctor (no prostitutes though lol) It is much better when u play on an actual table with actual people, but I guess it can work online too. Good luck everyone.

i don't get what you're saying. anyway, you all can vote, and you have right to try and ocnvince others to vote for the execution of the person you suspect to be the maifa. the person who most people voted will be executed :)

OK. Execution:
Zephyre, know also as Stephanie has been kidnapped at night while sleeping. After half a day of driving in a chariot she arrives to some beautiful place on a mountain and is being held half a meter from the edge, which has a 500Meter(1\3 myle) fall after that.She sees the people she thought were her friends such TheMixed Tape, Kryptonie, Rawrr, Ender, WelcomeToChaos. she is asked for last word, but keeps her pride and doesn't say anything. then some stranger walks by and kickes her just for the fun of it. then she is taken and thrown down. after a minute you hear the sound of her crashing into earth.

Oh, and when you get back home you find evidence that she was a perfect citizen, never had anything to do with the mafia. there are Still 2 mafiosos free and they are waiting to rip your heads and make a souffle baking dish out of it.

Good morning town. The dear citizen "The Mixed Tape" was Brutally ripped into 6 pieces. one to mom, to dad, each for each gramma, and each per each grandpa. I hope they find it amusing rather than sad. Maybe we should send them some pie with it, made of the victim's flesh of course!

-Right now there is an unactive player, Rawrr, if he doesn't make any activity until tomorrow he will be counted out of the game.
