It's overly used, yes, but in some cases it actually carries its full meaning....

Eh. Depends on who's using it :/ If it's overly used it can lose all meaning, but when used sparingly I think it can be pretty loaded. Again depends on who it's coming from.

I do not see it being overused. I use rarely. Mainly with nouns. :P

I see it a LOT. It's called having teenage girls on your friends list. Annoying as hell.

I see it all the time. But I take it upon myself to use it sparingly, and then it means so much more. Whether it's the <3 itself or "I love you."

I'm lucky enough to have friends who use it only moderately. These Facebook friends also know when to use correct capitalization and punctuation. I've definitely hit the jackpot :P

Love is a word constantly tossed around with no meaning behind it. It has lost it's meaning. Like the letters ILY don't mean shit. It's "I love you". I ain't going to say to someone on the phone or in person, "ILY hun" -.- so why would I say it on the internet. When I say it, I actually mean it. I agree with Matt. It's lost all credibility and meaning when people use it at me. Meh.

Extremely overused. Now, there are a lot of people that I honestly do love. But, I don't say "I love you" to people I barely know. I don't give random "<3"s. Only my true, close friends will ever here me say "I love you" to them.

This. I love the people who are my true friends, not the random people I occasionally talk to at school or where ever.
