Okay, so I just moved in with my brother. When he found out I wasnt eatting, I was sent to a hospital. Now its getting harder & harder to hide my cuts. I want help to stop because I know ill just keep relapsing if I dont, but I dont want to be sent to the hospital to be treated like im some psycho b*tch. Also....Im kinda almost scared to stop. Its been my crutch for so long I dont have any other way to deal with stressful issues or painful flashbacks..What should I do?

I think you should tell your brother... explain to him that you don't want to go to a hospital but that you want help from a therapist. The therapist will help you find other ways to cope.

I totally agree with Fiction, from how serious it sounds i don't think your going to be able to get the help you need without your brother finding out. Taking you to the hospital was his way of helping you, many people would do the same.

I know exactly what you mean about getting flashbacks of memories or whatever and wanting to reach for the knife. Its been a long 4 weeks since i last harmed, some days i didn't stop thinking about it from the moment i woke up to when i went to sleep, even then i would dream about it. It has went away some, so it does get easier.

If you want to talk about it further feel free to get in touch. :)

You should tell him about your cutting. It might help you relax abit. Also like Fiction said, you should ask him to take you to a therapist instead of the hospital.
VM me if you want to talk. :)

I agree with everyone else, I think you should tell your brother, he obviously cares about you, as he sent you to the hospital
So tell him that you need to see your therapist instead, i'm sure he would understand.
That way you dont have to try and hide the cuts from him either, I know its hard, but it does make it easier when you've got someone esle there to support you
You can VM me anytime if you need to talk
Good luck
