If your local news paper (assume that you have one) decided to run the winner of the Iranian cartoon contest (anti-american/Jew cartoon in response to the hohamad ones) with one of the origional mohamad cartoons, side by side and with no caption, just a few word tribute to the free pess would you be for or against this?

I would be for it.

If somone is so fucked up as to kill people over a cartoon they deserve to be shot.
I don't care what dumb cartoons you make about US its freedom of speach.
I am REALY angry with the pussyness of our press.

Its not a question of should it be legall, its should it be done. The mohamad cartoon reactions caused death and violence. though i would argue that the violent in the people that commited it was laready there and they just wanted to, or felt that they were religiously obligated to commit it.

It is controversial becasue some people see it as "fanning" the flames of their hatred

It would be 2 cartoons, one bashing mohamad (or just a picture of him see the link), and the other bashing jews/western culture in general

Man, if i looked, i bet i could find several dozen Jesus Satire cartoons. really, off the top of my head i have seen 3 in the last week

Its to bad if a cartoon of Mohamed makes islum people to turn hateful and voliene. I say to fucking bad. Their actions justifiy the cartoon and its accurate portrailry.

If islum would get their act together then people wouldn';t need to show cartoons.

Have you noticed the islum world as a whole has done nothing and said nothing againest the terrorism. Where are all these peaceful holly people. I can't see them. Its like saying only islumic terrorisum is justified.

yup... they are just CARTOONS... I guess that if they did a cartoon of jesus or god, I would only take a good laugh outta it... but that doesn't mean I'm not christian... its just a FUCKING drawing

I agree that we have the freedom of the press, but I think as a western society we shouldn't be depicting religious figures in a negative sense.
