Alright. I'm uber-small, yet I constantly check my weight. I really like having a low BMI. I believe I am closer to underweight, but I am at a healthy weight.

To me, I don't have a problem with eating, but I don't really care about it. Like, when my dad calls me for dinner, I might not go and eat it for an hour or so. When I do eat, I tend to eat a lot and late at night, and I'm not really eating healthy food either. Then during the day, I don't really eat that much for lunch, I wish that I wanted to eat the lunch I'm packed, and I feel bad for wasting it, I just don't have an interest...so yeah.

It depends really on why your not eating your lunch. Are you just not hungary? Or do you feel guilty or "fat" when you eat it?
It sounds to me as though you just have unusual eating patterns and not a disorder as such but i'm not a doctor.
Constantly checking your weight can be a sign of an eating disorder but if you are not totally obsessive about this i wouldn't worry too much.
If you are really concerned about it go and see a doctor and see what they have to say about it all :)

I do understand where you're coming from here, though I had a problem eating period. I will go periods of time without eating because I am always concerned about my weight. I count calories, carbs, just everything and weighing myself constantly.

To be very honest with you and this is pretty common with some people, is that their metabolism works on over drive constantly, and it's hard to gain weight, and your hormones certainly don't help. As you get older your metabolism doesn't work as hard so it's a lot easier to gain weight. It's just right now everything you eat is burned very quickly. So I wouldn't label yourself quite yet.

Night time snacking is okay as long as it's not in the middle of the night and you have some left over pasta and you're eating late. As your body is more at rest (or should be) and doesn't work as hard as it does during the day. Like for me, the only meal I enjoy or actually feel like eating is at night.

Sometimes if you portion out your meals like separating them out through the day. Like make yourself have some fruit in the morning that way you -at least- get the day started right, then at lunch some more fruit or something resembling health. Then at dinner I would not worry about it. If you have a low BMI then try eating more carbohydrates. It may help tone your metabolism. It may help it a little bit, but in time it's all going to slow down and the weight will come on. so I wouldn't think it's an eating disorder.

If you need someone to talk to I'm always here PM/VM me anytime. Things are going to get better man. :hug3:

i'm no doctor, but if you do it just because you are not hungry than it's just different eating habits (but if you are afarid of being fat you can call it eating disorder).
-Notice that NOT EATING HURTS YOUR STOMACH, even if you are on normal weight. that acids build up in your stomach and instead of consuming the food (which is not accesible) the acids consume your stomach. this will hurt you in the short term and even more on the long term. if you continue like this you will have sirious health issues with your stomach, so try to eat something small even when you are not hungry just to fill it.
