it's allright, don't worry. it's a stage that comes for everyone, early or late, it will hit you. many people are embaressed because theyr voice didn't change yet. and voice breaking is happening to everyone, so i'm sure your mom won't laugh\be angry\anything else at you. don't hide it, becaus it's totally ok, and you will get used to it :)

I doubt your mum will care, she'll surely be expecting it

Just cough a bit, thats what I done.
Its weird how it always happens at awkward moments, like when your talking infront of the class or something. :P

Your voice will go high pitched for a moment and you'll clear your throath automaticly. Just cough a bit and say something jokey as puberty sucks or there goes my kiddo voice...Nothing to be ashamed of. Proud actually!

Why do anything? She knows you're growing up.
When my voice changed and was cracking, all they did was say how different I sound.

Your mom will most likely be happy because it means "her little boy is growing up"

What kind of question is this?
Good god. It happened to your mom, it happened to your dad, it happened to their parents, IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU, and guess what? THEY KNOW IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU.
Good god, people these days are ashamed of every little thing.
