Personally, I think Obama should not seek re-election in 2 years time because:
(1) His legacy has already been decided eg 1st black President/health care
(2) Hilary Clinton's too popular in the party to guarantee Obama his place as Democrat candidate
(3) His family is young and the strain he is under and the abuse he is receiving might lead him to consider its not worth it
any thoughts?

Though incumbents typically have a higher chance of re-election, alot of people I know that voted Obama in the 08 election have lost their faith in change. I personally will not vote for Obama if he does run again.

Absolutely he should. America is lucky to have him, he's done ALLOT of good for the nation through a shitty economic crisis, hes initiated the groundwork for a universal healthcare system, hes passed legislation allowing for greater public scrutiny of the budget process, he's passed legislation promoting the use of alternate fuel sources, hes pushed for international agreements to halt nuclear proliferation and disarmament period. Not to mention he's done wonders for americas OBLITERATED reputation abroad from the Bush era.

Well I dont live in America but,
Leave all those racist people at one place, the others say that he is not useful too...
And why in hell he got the peace prize for anyway ?

I would wait until after the primaries and what happens over the next 2 years before saying anything. Obama wouldn't have a good chance of re-election now, but that could all change. Based on today's opinion polls, I would say he should run for re-election, pretty much since the Democrats don't have a stronger alternative.

Clinton?
We could see a Clinton scenario, it all depends on what he does to redeem himself.

I think you're focusing on the wrong problems. The Obama administration was elected for one reason - to fix the economy. He's only made it worse. He's not worrying about that because he is too busy working on all of his liberal propositions that aren't helping anyone. I think it would be a bad idea for him to run for re-election. He only appeals to about 20% of the people in America as to opposed to a much higher percentile when he ran in '08.

Yeah, because not being in a depression is totally making it worse. How has he made it worse? Pray tell, young one.

I'd take him over McCain/Palin anyday. I haven't witnessed too much of that since I came here after the election, but McCain has won a reputation with me as a homophobic jerk and Palin just scares the shit out of me.
I'm just happy as long as we have a liberal running the country, I'm not too picky.
I don't like how people are picking on him though. Sure, he COULD do better. But is he really that bad? He was elected right after Bush after all :P It tells you something when even I know about Bush XD

Could we have a source confirming McCain's homophobia?

He's not as homophobic as, say, this guy (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39608685/ns/politics-the_new_york_times), but he is opposed to gay marriage and Sarah Palin is definitely. I do not think McCain would have been all that bad of a President; it's just Palin would have dragged him down with her nonsense.

20%? That's absurdly low, you've got your stats wrong.
The economy may not be back at 100% capacity, but Obama did what he could to keep it alive. The stimulus made a difference, and jobs are starting to be created again. You can't expect one man to come in and use his superpowers to fix a recession of the magnitude we were just in. It'll take multiple years and probably more than 1 president to fix it all.

He has not done anything to help our country only bring us down more. He is spending money that we don't even have!!! Another thing, I am glad the Republicans own the House of Reps and hope the President Candidate on the Republican wins!
