My cousin

My cousin died earlier this morning from a massive heart attack. His wife did CPR, and by the time the ambulance came, it was too late. He was only thirty-one years old.

I'm just really upset right now; and wondering why God could take away someone like that, especially when my cousin's kids won't have a father anymore.

Unfortunately I can't give you an answer that will theologically satisfy you since you know I'm an atheist, but I know that my religious friends would say that it's all part of God's plan however seemingly unfair.

A nice big bowl of ice cream would be fine; and a dark corner. It's just so shocking you know? I was so mad, and still am with God. All my cousin did through his life was give to those who needed giving. Why couldn't God give him a longer life? Thirty one years old, with two little kids and a wife. I don't even know what my Uncle is going through, whatever it is, I'm sure its a mix of all emotion.

things happen that we will never be able to explain, and there's nothing we can do to change them.
as i'm not religious, i cant say much from that view,
but what i will say, is don't lose faith, i'm sure a reason for it will come through in the end.

Today's just been awful. Crying sessions and all that stuff. I am still in denial, which sucks. But I'll know for sure that it actually happened, when I go to the funeral tomorrow.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I can understand the wanting of ice cream and a dark corner. But you are strong. You can continue going on. Life doesnt stop. Life keeps going. I know that's most likely not what you want to hear, but you have to keep going. I know its hard to bear sometimes, but you have to let go of what's happened, and keep the good memories. I know the good die young and the ones we think will be around forever, arent. The impossible happens hun.
