View Full Version : Starting to dislike my boyfriend

Ok so I broke up with my first boyfriend in early august because he was rushing things (including my first kiss -.-). I started dating my best friend who recently moved to Florida in September because i've liked him since we met. For a while though he's been bugging me to do things that i'm very uncomfortable with. I've told him no to some of these things but he just doesn't listen. We haven't talked in over a week, seeing as we can only talk over msn now. I don't feel the same love for him that I did when we started dating, we've just both kinda changed in this relationship. I'm not sure if I want to stay with him because well, he doesn't make me happy and i'm not sure if that's going to change. I'm really not sure how to tell him though, we have both been wanting to date each other since June. I've been missing being single so much lately, any advice?
Also, sorry for disappearing from here, been very stressed lately. (crappy excuse I know)

He doesn't make you happy. Humm, that's the worst part to me, I mean, if you're in a relationship you're expected to be happy. Besides, you're not sure if you want to be in a relationship with him, if you really wanted to be with him, you wouldn't have these doubts, so my advice is to dump him. About the not knowing how to do it part, don't worry, you'll know how to do it when it's time to do it.
Good luck :)

Break up with him no point on leading him on.

Really? you need advice?
Answer seems pretty obvious to me - you've lost interest in him and he's a douche for rushing you into things, so yea I'd say dump his sorry ass, especially if you feel you miss being single. You don't need to be a jerk about it, just let him down easy by telling him you're just not interested in being in a relationship right now. Plain and simple.

Hey dude,
I just recently stopped my long distance relationship. I live in Scotland and he lives in England. We went out for 3 months and I saw him twice out of the whole relationship. It was great at first, he made me laugh, smile and feel happy,,, but towards the end of the relationship, we just both got depressed and cried a lot. When it came to braking up with him, I had to tell him by text... which was horrible I know, but it was the only way I could do it :/ But me and him are friends now and tbh I think I prefer being friends with him and maybe you and your boyfriend could be friends :)
I hoped that helped a bit and maybe you related to some of the things there.
Peace & Love, Jordan xoxo
