I think debate should be a seperate thing with sub forums for different topics such as religion, politics, etc.

What do you guys think.

While true, this isn't a reason not to have it.

Mainly, the reason not to have it is I don't think the forum gets enough activity that it needs to be split. Keeping everything together seems to work fine, and I suspect creating multiple forums would result in at least a couple of low activity forums as a result. I don't think we need that.

I think it's pointless. Agreeing with David completely. The debate forum is generalized meaning that any debate is fair game in this section. I don't think it's necessary to make more sections for debate. It would only make things more confusing and another forum dead. So I don't think it's needed.

While I've always liked GovTeen's split debate section, we don't need it on VT. There's just not enough activity, we only get a couple of new threads at ROTW each day.

Compared to some parts of the forum rotw is slow anyway, splitting it again would only make it worse.

Are you being serious? The easy solution is post in the threads you want to and ignore the rest, that's how the rest of us cope

Like I said in my original message that it would only make the forums look crowded and messy. If you want to look for a certain debate you can use that handy search option when you go to ROTW and search for religion and all of the threads will come up resembling what you searched for. I see no need to separate and only create more work than it's realistically worth. There are tools that you may utilize that make it that much easier to find what you're looking for.
