Ok so im 14, i weigh about 142 lbs and im 5'9" and im not sure if i have an eating disorder or not. I know its more uncommon for boys to get them but im still a little confused. My BMI is 20.9ish and i constantly obsess on checking the nutrition box on whatever i eat, and if it doesnt have one i estimate on how many calories/nutrients ar in it. Sometimes i just have this horrible urge to eat everything (basically binge eating disorder) but ill limit myself becasue i just cannot be fat again cause when i was younger in fourth grade, i weighed more than i do now. I dont throw up which is good but sometimes i starve myself a little (anorexia nervosa), not to the full extent where i cant move a muscle but untill i get pretty hungry. I eat healthy on most days but one random day ill go on an eating rampage and not eat for the rest of the day or only a little. i excercise and eat healthy so that helps but im still confused. Since binge disorder and anorexia are opposite, i think they cancel eachotehr out so im not sure if i have one or both or none... thanks for your help

You can have both, and get the outcome of only one. They're opposite, but think of bipolar disorder. You can be depressed for a week, and then it's gone the next. Polar opposites, under one umbrella.
I don't believe there's an actually condition for that though. But I'm certain you can have both binge eating and anorexia, cause I used to be there in primary school. It wasn't really full-fledged anorexia, as I don't consider myself having it before high school, but it would be this constant back and forth relationship with food. I would hate it one day, then binge the other.

Bulimia also has symptoms similar of this. Bulimia is charachterized as binge eating and then feeling guilty so therefore doing something to get rid of the guilt. The obvious one is making yourself throw up but starving yourself for a period of time afterwards can also be a symptom of bulimia.
