I have noticed that there wasn't a forum for people with asthma troubles. Maybe this could be added? Or is there one and its hiding somewhere?

Calum mentioned the VT hospital, I think that this is the best bet, because to have a forum for a specific problem that many might not have would only take up space on the forum and make it look messier. Though we do have sub-forums for mental health, those are definitely more common and for people to be helped. Asthma is a respiratory problem that can be helped by doctors, which we are not. I don't think we need that here.

ok yeah I have asthma and I agree its an individual medical problem, although it would be interesting to see the vt hospital as a forum with sub-forums though. although asthma would be better "helped by doctors" people with the same medical condition may be able to answer other peoples questions from past experience. In all honesty though I dont think it's nessisary to have another forum or sub-forum just for asthma, but if you have a question i agree with calum ask it in vt hospital.

I have to agree with Cengiz. While it seems a nice idea its not that important to add and would be more trouble than its worth. The VT hospital is for all health problems you're experiencing, so we don't really need to categorize them into individual child forums.

It's a volume issue. If we were getting a bunch of asthma threads every single day it would be worth it. As it is, the health forum (VT General Hospital) seems to function at a pretty reasonable traffic level while including asthma and many other ailments in its purview.

There's no need for a seperate thread for asthma, just like there isn't for any other medical condition. Just post in the VT hospital. If we have a seperate forum for asthma, we'll have people demanding forums for every other medical condition, and there's no need for any of them, they wouldn't get enough activity for an entire forum.
