Wigs are so expensive though, Im just dying my hair black. :)

Is this thread only for Anime Cosplay?

I love cosplay, but I've never dressed up as an Anime character :P Costuming for these things is my favourite. I've sewn full costumes for myself, and I also did an Ash Ketchum costume for a friend of mine when she went to an Anime convention.

Yeah, characters for cosplay are usually drawn from anime and manga, but can also include characters from comic books, video games, and fantasy movies, including characters from western culture.

Depending on the convention too. Of course, at anime conventions, the cosplay is with anime. If you go to Blizzcon, you see video game characters. At Comic Con, you would see a lot of superheroes. LeakyCon is where the Harry Potter fanatics go, and at Twicon... well, you see a bunch of hopeless romantic fangirls in costume.... XD

I did Bellatrix Lestrange last year, from Harry Potter, and last February I went as The Red Queen from Alice In Wonderland. Usually my cosplay costumes double as Halloween costumes ;) (Oh yes, I still trick-or-treat. Well, I take my siblings out...)

Well, it's different that I still go trick-or-treating (even if the excuse is that I'm taking my brother and sister) cause I'm way past that nonexistent age rule of trick-or-treating. I just like dressing up :P

Halloween is better than Christmas! (regardless of the fact that I don't even celebrate Christmas) What's better than running around acting like an idiot in an awesome costume getting free candy? And depending on the costume, using fake accents and roleplaying the entire time! (my American accent really sucks, let me tell you)
