Asylum
She sits and she waits in a white padded room
Waiting for the flames that would soon consume
Her tears stained face lights up the room where
She sits in agony not being able to bare
With the pain that is inside.
She wants to sit and hide,
From the outside world that is looking in.
She’s locked up due to her sin.
Blood that runs down arm
Is all self inflicted harm.
There is nowhere to run
She smiles grimly in the darkness as if having fun.
Her little games she plays with a razor is her addiction.
The Psychotic Ward is where she has her restriction.
She can never go home. She waits in the darkness clutching to the last bit of light.
Because hope is out of sight.
