For sheer performance, the 5950 Ultra and 9800XT were the top two performers

I have always have had Nividia, and have never had any issuses from my FX5500 to my 7600GT that i have today. Tho i realy don't care it is just for ease of shopping b/c i can keep up with the latest nividia cards and there specs.

I prefer ATI so far. It has been through ALOT of shit, extreme heat lots of moving it around. No problems so far. I THINK well at least when I bought mine 4 months ago that ATI has more bang for your buck.
I have an ATI x850xt currently
