this is the first time ive givin myself self harm in years, this is the first time ive used a knife(just used nails before) but it felt so soothing.I have such a llow self esteem and i do consider myself depressed, but when i cut, eveyrthing just seems to go away, i forget im fat, i forget about family issues. But idk what to do, ive been caught before but now i feel like i have to...ive even thought of cuting my neck just to hide it, i promised my best friend that i wouldnt do it agian( he saw the cuts today) but idk if i can keep the promise. just thought ide share how ive felt.

dont make a promise you cant keep, instead of cutting watch a horror movie or splash ice cold water on ur face.

When you feel down and need a way to release your anger / sadness try running, just as hard and fast as you can. it will tire you right out, as well as give you some exercise.

http://www.siriusproject.org/alternatives.htm

that is a list of alternatives you can do to self harm, such as cold shower, holding ice cubes etc. Its well worth giving it a look.

edit: You may also want to consider the scars, when your older and have stopped harming they will still be there, upsetting the people close to you.

U said u just started again? If u dont stop while u can, its going to pull u back into that trap. And tombstone is right, what about when ur older and have scars? It already breaks my heart to have to hear " Auntie how u get that ouch?" Idunno if its listed in the link tombstone gave u put snapping a band againest ur wrists sometimes helps or biting really hard into ginger root.

I'm sorry to hear that you cut again, but like the other said, try some of the other methods, it will be worth giving them a try even if you dont think they'll work
I know its hard, but try and stop before you get pulled back into it again
