Have i embarassed myself?

Basically i have been going out with this guy for 5 days now.
He is really shy and i really do like him. I am his first ever serious
girlfriend.

we have already hugged and held hands. (with a little pursuasion from me)
but i want more. i want him to kiss me. so today he walked me home and we
hugged and i kissed him on the cheek. he went bright red and went home
without saying anything.

have i just embarrassed myself because he wasnt expecting it or does
this mean he will actually be more confident and kiss me?

Just let the guy get used to you, let your relationship develop at its own pace! its only been 5 days and your his first serious girlfriend, he's shy and he's just nervous about it.

I have been this guy, he is scared to kiss you, but still wants it a lot. Make him REALLY comfertable first and YOU make the move..or you'll scare him away possibly. good luck :)

he might also just be nervous cause if he hasnt done anything like that before, then he'll be scared that he isnt doing it right or what ever. Just be a bit patiant =]

I think next time your by yourselves, give him a hug, look him in the eye, and lean in for the kiss, if you get close enough he will respond.
