So I like this girl at my school, but she is a year (and grade) above me...she's in in 11th and im in 10th. She's nice to me and all, but I dunno if I would stand a chance compared to other guys in her grade or older. Would you girls go out with a guy that was younger than you and in a lower grade?

I'm a junior and my girlfriend is a senior. I know lots of people who are seniors and have dated freshman it just depends on what you think is right

Yes, age difference doesn't matter. (as long as its not illegal)

My girlfriend is at collage and I'm still at secondary School ( in UK) year 12 and year 11, so she's in 12th grade and I'm in 11th :P

Its the opposite way around with my relationship, my girlfriends 15 in year 11 and I'm 18 im year 13 (UK). Age is just a number depending on certain things like the actual age gap and the maturity of you both. Just remember though all girls after different so while some on here may be perfectly alright with it the girl in question may not be.

Depends on what they think, I would not really mind. But at my school, most people don't like (And Laugh which I think is immature) at younger relationships. A boy in my year last year (Year 8) was going out with a then Year 7. But it did not last long. And most of the girls in my year tend to go out/hang out with the guys in Year 10/11. But just see what happens :)

But for me, I would date a younger girl. For now in school I would only go about 1/2 years down since that would be Year 8/7. But once I'm older I think I'd go lower.

I personally wouldn't, but I'm in tenth grade and I find a lot of the guys in my grade incredibly immature, and I probably wouldn't even date someone only a grade above me. I just find everyone in high school really immature. But I think that it depends on the person, because her preferences aren't going to be exactly the same as the preferences of anyone else.

My friend is a sophomore and is dating a senior. It is definitely not that common. As far as I know their relationship is working fine.

It all depends on the girl. You two are only a year apart, that's not a lot at all. Personally, I wouldn't date a guy younger than me simply because of the immaturity levels of most of the younger guys that I know. On the other hand, I wouldn't date anyone who was three or four years older because that's just creepy. But many people don't really care about age, and she might be one of those people. My friend, who is a senior just like I am, is dating a sophomore, (whereas I am dating a guy who is exactly six months older than me and who is in college b/c I prefer to stay close to my own age bracket.) So it definitely happens, it just all depends on the individuals' preferences.

it's funny how guys are "allowed" to do it, but when a girl wants to date a younger guy, she's kinda made fun of for it. i say date whoever you want within your age group. if your 18, though, don't date an 11 year old. THAT'S weird.

My last boyfriend and I were a year and a half apart, and I was older. It didn't cause any problems, the age factor was the least of our worries when we broke up.

Younger guys seem to be very immature.
I have never dated a guy younger than me, and am currently dating a guy almost 2 years older than me.

There is nothing wrong! You can not put a number of love! The only way this could be a strange thing is that if two have a sexual relationship age difference might be considered wrong. Wait a year or two of that. if you think about it, that guy is going out an older girl and everyones well with the kids even think of that makes them cool.

Lol I'm not a girl but I dated a girl 2 years older and she didn't have a problem with age. Depends on how you present yourself too don't act childish and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Age doesn't really matter to me. Out of the younger guys I know personally, I would only consider dating a few of them. But if I had feelings for someone younger than me I would go for it.

As long as both people like each other there isnt anything wrong with it at all.
