It's normal to have anxiety before your first session with a counselor. Depending on how they go about their work, they'll ask many and various questions. Nothing too bad, I'm quite sure. Probably about what has been going on, history of depression, why you want to kill yourself, etc. And again, depending on the professional, they might or might not have your mother come in with you. If you don't want her to come in when the counselor asks you questions, you can express that, and the counselor might let you do this. But they'll probably talk to your mother separately too if they go about it like this.
With suicidal thoughts, it's a bit harder to say how the session will go. The counselor also is obligated to share details about you hurting yourself in a life-threatening situation, with your parents. What's going to happen? I'm not sure. It all depends on your situation. It could be as simple as getting you on anti-depressants and regularly seeing a professional, or if you're truly planning to kill yourself, they might take different measures.
It'll be alright. Counselors are there for your own well-being, to do what is best for you. Whatever they decide to do will hopefully be in your best interests.
