Hi all, I have this problem with excessive sweating under my armpits and I would like to hear your advice on how to get rid of it. Everyone tells me to use antiperspirant (I do), to shave my armpits (I did) but nothing helps. I was hoping someone here has some different advice. It's really embarassing at times when it really goes out of hand, sometimes I have sweat stains all the way to my vaist, even in the winter. The size of them varies, sometimes they're not too big to hide by putting my arms down but sometimes they're huge. Not just one time the entire sides of my shirt were completely wet and the sleeves all the way down below the elbow. it's impossible to hide when it gets that bad. I don't just sweat when I'm doing something, even just sitting at school makes me get pit stains. People don't talk about it but sometimes I can see them staring. So, any help would be appreciated

First don't wear grey shirts. Worst thing you could do. Secondly wear dark sweatshirts. It will be easier covering it up. Lastly, go to the doctor. Only thing that can help. He might give you percscription deodrent or something like tht. Good luck dude.

I agree. The doctor may take some convincing, but that would be best.
And the shirt thing is a good idea too. Also, you might want to keep an extra shirt or two handy, to change into.

Try not to wear tight clothes too much. And also when you put on deoderant wheel your arms, as in move them around. Sometimes people sweat under there and dont know why because its random. also try to wash under there more, if there is dry old deoderant under there when you apply a new layer it wont work. The new layer will just sit on the layer and the old layer falls apart, youll sweat again

I know how you must feel. I have really sweaty armpits too and I tried everything to stop it and nothing worked. I don't have anything to suggest but I want to tell you I know how you feel. My sweating is really bad too and I know how it is being afraid to show your armpits to people. :/

Yeah I have the same thing. Since I was ten. And my mom wont take me to the doctor but it's still worth asking. Seriously ask her to take you. I hear that people get the best results from going to the doctor than anything else like home remedies, etc.

they sell clinical stuff at the store and u don't need a prescription,
i think the thing is that you have to put it on at night before you sleep, and it ends up tightening your porees so you have less sweat flow
and then regular antiperspirant can do the rest
