im nearly 16, and im in a very long term relationship, both me and my girlfriend have been talking alot about sex, we have done nearly everything else and we both want to take it to the next step but not rush into it too quickly.

but i dont know if its going to happen soon and im worried about my foreskin, because it gets very painful after a few minutes if its pulled behind the head of my penis, i think a small bit of that it because of width, but mainly it feels like the main pain is because of stretching of the frenulum (the small bit of skin connecting the head and the foreskin)

ive looked into it and ive found out its possible to get this cut, this allows for more freedom of the foreskin and possibly a little bit extra length on it (im about 6.5 inchs erect) not like im bothered about the length.

im curious because i would be able to get it cut soon without my parents know how, but i want to know if anyone here has had this done? or if anyone knows to any downsides to it. i couldn't find any bad points to it. but any advice on this would be great.

cheers

Ok, I am circumsized because I'm jewish....I have found no downsides to it.....but since your under 18 you can't have surgery without your parents permission. Just tell them it's causing you problems and you want to get cut.

Im not sure if you can get it done without your parents knowing, I myself have had it done, its called circumsization, basicly what they do is cut the foreskin off. You will probally be in hospital for 5-8 hours, it depends. Its up to you if you want to get it doen, theres no real downsides to it, its easier to clean and its less likely to get infected when you are cut. Jusk ask your doctor about it first ;)

i wasnt meaning full foreskin off thing, just the connecting skin cut. i read you can get that done and still have the foreskin.

and i thought it is different in the uk to the us? is it or are both 18 before not needing parental consent?

I think 18 is pretty much the general rule.... I don't really know the anatomy of the foreskin not having any...I'm sure someone else can help you :)

Whatever you decide on DO NOT do this without your parents!! For something like this you NEED a professional to do it. Don't trust anyone but a surgeon with an opporation such as this. The last thing you want is something wrong to happen and for you to damage your penis. It could leave to nerve damage making it impossible to gain an orgasm or possible lead to erectile disfunction. Even though it may be extremely embarrassing you should 100% talk to your parents and get an actual opporation done. And remember NEVER do this yourself or let someone else do it who is not a surgeon!!!!

In australia you can make all your medical descions by the age of 15-1/2 i think it is. but even if that was teh case you need the money to pay a proffesinal to do it. It would be better to talk it through with your parents as i see no reason why a sane person would object to it.

i can see you point him, and i guess, if anything is going to happen soonish, itll happen with my penis without any surgery (because i cant get it for a few years, much to my suprise) and i guess i should see if its going to effect having sex, and if not it wont do any harm leaving it until it does, maybe, cause pain or whatever.

and i would ask my parents (more likely my dad) but my mam would find out somehow and go crazy, partly because she thinks me and my girlfriend have already had sex (no reason to think that) and also because she would just explode at me, causing me to do that same back and etc. but yer.

if there is anyone here who has just had the bit cut that im thinking about, i wouldnt mind some advice if they havent posted already?
