From the Haddith (the sayings of The Prophet Muhammad http://www.islamforlife.co.uk/saw.gif)
Bukhari (2:28) - "Women comprise the majority of Hell's occupants."
The side annotation to this was: "This is important because the only women in heaven ever mentioned by Muhammad http://www.islamforlife.co.uk/saw.gif are the virgins who serve the sexual desires of men."
What do you think?
Its a strong verse. And doesn't say much for womens rights in Islam.
PS
The views expressed the in above verse Bukhari (2:28) do not represent the views of the VT user dooleynz =).
http://www.islamforlife.co.uk/saw.gif = "May Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) honour him and grant him peace."
سبحانه وتعالى = may He be glorified and exalted
I like to be respectful of the faiths of others and so I keep to the standard islamic practice of putting these phrases in arabic after the the names of The Prophet http://www.islamforlife.co.uk/saw.gif and Allah (سبحانه وتعالى)
