i was looking in the puberty forum all round for a sexuality sub-forum (and i must admit- i read some of the guys posts!!!) and i found it here... why isn't it in the puberty forum?


well anyways, my problem is that i'm bisexual and everyone thinks i'm weird for it. why can't anyone just accept me for who i am?

and plus, my stepmom doesn't even believe that i'm bisexual, but i always tell her about my girl crushes, like lady gaga, and when i see a girl i like i say "she's hot" and not "pretty".

Well I can tell you that it's not in puberty because sexuality has nothing to do with puberty and, as the title suggests, the puberty section is for puberty only...

As for your sexuality predicament; there's not a lot you can do really. If people don't accept you for who you are then forget them. Don't get involved with any of those people, be with those friends that have already accepted your sexuality. If the rest don't want to believe or understand you then you don't need them. The situation with your stepmother is more complicated and somewhat sensitive so I don't have any reliable advice really, I would just suggest trying to have a 'serious' conversation to her about how you feel and your sexuality. If she still doesn't believe you after that then it's her problem.

well, if you can figure out why people are stupid and homophobic you win yourself a nice prize. i'm sorry that you're seen as weird for it. they shouldn't because you seem like a nice person. as for the puberty thing, sexuality is a part of human life, it's not limited to adolescence.
