Sore throat remedy?

Well for the past few days i'v had a pretty god awful sore throat, and i'v missed 3 days of school this week, including tomorrow.

Also I have a high fever, and no appetite, however i was just wondering if anyone knew a good remedy or soother for a sore throat, because it's gonna be a bit before i can get into a doctors office..

Some hot tea with lemon always seems to help me. Make sure you drink a lot of fluids too, as with a fever you want to keep well hydrated. If your fever gets too high, though, you might want to have your folks take you to the emergency room.

hot water, drinkable thou, with honey. mix it and drink while its hot. also like above, you can drink tea with lemon

Drink water constantly. And don't drink anything else until you're well again. Best advice I can give on short notice.

Throat Coat tea. It's the worst tea I've ever tasted, but it really helps me.

If your throat feels like it's ON FIRE...and your voice is barely audible, you might have strep (spelling)? Only a "culture" (taken with a large Q tip) collected by your Doc and sent to the health dept can confirm it.

Most times, Drs can figure it out and just give you some meds.

Have you tried hot water with salt in the water? It's disgusting. But it seems to work.

Yeah, salt water has worked for me. Not hot, just room temperature.
Tea with honey.
And taking fever reducers occasionally.
