Hey if anybody can give me some drawing tips that would be really really sweet! I did these by drawing with a pencil on paper and then scanning it into the computer and setting the contrast REALLY high so that it's only black and white with no grays .

I'll try...
My main advice would be: learn to walk before trying to run. That means study your anatomy and draw from real life. You can't really draw proper highly stylized characters (such as those) if you don't master the basics first.
Short-term things you should try to improve:
- Line control: manage to make perfect lines, with no hiccup or variation of thickness/direction.
- The existence of erasers: learn to erase wrong parts whenever needed - do not overshade them, as it will never correct the bad part.
- Volumes: learn basic perspective for simple shapes like spheres, boxes, and pyramids. Those are your basic tools to create whatever 3D object, including characters.
Hope this helps!

I think it looks like you drew the pictures in pen without any sort of base or preparatory lines for the picture--In other words, it might look a lot better if you sketched it lightly in pencil first, and then traced the final lines in ink.
I hope that helps... :)

In the first post it says that she drew them in only pencil, but her scanner made it look like that, so there was no pen involved.
