I can't look!

First of all, please allow me to thank you for reading my thread. Alright, here's the thing, I really want to talk to this girl who sits near me in class. The problem is that i can't look at her no matter what I do. Everytime I see her, I immediately look away. I just can't help it. :s.

I just want to see if anyone has a similar experience... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what and why you're looking away from her, if its just the random "I just can't look" then no I've never done that, I've only probably done that - not even then most likely - but when me and friends stop talking, or I find out something I didn't want to know sorta thing. If you want to talk to her, but can't actually look at her, write a note or something similar, that might help get you to see she isn't all that bad :P

For a while yes, we don't usually talk much. One time, I was working on this assignment with my friend and she looked at me a couple times. I saw this from the side view of my eye. :S Anways, I thought the class was nearly over and I asked my friend what time it was. Out of the blue, she jumped in and told me the time. That was the very first conversation I had with her. Needless to say, I was having a hard time having to look at her and thank her.

There were similar situations but other then that, we don't usually talk much. Recently, her attention to me has died down... I just want to get to know her as a friend, noting more noting less. I have talked to other girls in the past and I had no such problem whatsoever. Perhaps, I am too nervous...?

maybe you could just start up a conversation one day just out of the blue. or maybe you can mention something to her that you found nice about her, ya know like, "hey, i like your backpack, where'd ya get it?" or like, "hey, nice (whatever she's wearing) your wearing." smile sweetly and just have a good time talking. don't think about it and talk to her like you've known her your whole life. best of luck to you dude. :)
