The Xbox uses the same drive that you can find in the PC sitting next to you.
So, like I said, it's not really Microsoft's faut.
You shouldn't be kicking around your 360 when it's on anyway.

But wouldnt there be something they could do? Like turning the xBox box from up-right to laying down with a disk, even when off, doesnt it cause the CD damage?

ps3 cuz graffics are WAY better n the internet is free (PSN) i own bolth but i dont play online wit the xbox cuz of the expensive internet coast

The damage only occurs when the disk is spinning.
So when you're at the dashboard, or if the console is off, you're fine. No damage will happen.
A solution to this is installing the game to your hard drive. Then you only don't have to knock it over for the first ~5 seconds of the game, because this is where it does it's check to make sure you own the disk. After the check you can launch the console into outer space if you wanted to, and it wouldn't do damage to the disk, as it's no longer spinning.


Edit: I would also like to point out that the "ready thingy without a tray" /is/, in fact, a disk drive. Just because it lacks a tray, doesn't mean it's not a drive.

Xbox 360.Its has better graphics,plus the fucker isnt always frezzing up on me.But the bitch will go into the red ring of death if i leave it idol on for an hour.Thankfully,i was able to save it countless times.

I much prefer the PS3. I prefer the way it looks (The fat models); it has BluRay; support for all original PlayStation titles, with many available for download on the PlayStation Store; it has (in my opinion) better exclusives, such as Motorstorm, Gran Turismo, among others; factually it has a lower failure rate; free PSN; Bluetooth support, which allows for virtually any Bluetooth mic; a slot loading drive, which is just cooler :P; and the XMB, which, in my opinion, is a better interface.

But honestly, go with what you prefer. I'm not into Halo or most of its exclusives, so it makes more sense for me to have a PS3. If you don't mind paying $60 (it was recently raised), which is the same as one game, and which over 12 months is not that much, then go ahead.

i've played both and definitely think the ps3 slim has better graphics. to me, the ps3 has better contrast black levels. the xbox 360 is great too, but i haven't played one in a long time. i also haven't played the xbox 360 slim. i don't own any system, but my friends all have them, so i just enjoy what they have :D

Graphics, online play, availability of new releases...

Ultimately, I don't care much for console disputes, so I would say this all comes down to games. Many games come out on both the 360 and PS3, but both consoles have their fair share of exclusive titles. Look at the exclusive games and see which has more of the ones you like. Personally, I prefer the 360.

I'm not a huge fan of both the 360 or PS3 actually, but I've had fun on the 360.
