Ok so in my American history class we had groups and sexuality came up and one guys whoni have really likes for a while(I'm not gay but there is something about him) said he might be gay. Should I talk to him or let it pass?

i would just tell him that your interested in the subject, you just gotta talk to him about, and then things might come up that you are curious and you might be able to roll with that

Sexuality came up...IN HISTORY CLASS? LOL Tells you that your focus was a little off, don't you think?

I'd approach it this way; He indicated he might be gay....just ask him to elaborate on the matter....as "comfortably" as he feels in doing so, and just keep it kinda low key, so that neither of you walk away with any feelings of guilt or shame.

Treat it like a stepping stone, and as you guys progress in the discussion, ultimately everything will be comfortable discussing.

You don't have to admit that you like him to find out if he's gay or not. You could simply go up to him and tell him "I overheard you in history class, are you really gay?" And see what he says. I can see why you would be nervous to ask him, it's hard enough to tell someone you like them, and I can't even imagine how much harder it would be if you weren't sure of their sexuality. But the way I see it is that it's better to find out than always wonder, right? Best of luck if you decide to ask him. :)

If somehow you like him, chances are, you might end up being good friends. So yeah, talk to him, get to know him. And if he's a jock, and really gay, let him know how brave he is for admitting it- because obviously there's so much pressure for jocks to be straight, you know?
