friend passes me in puberty?

Ok is this normal to happen, my friend is before i start the story my friend is 1 month younger than me. Ok So Im pretty sure i started puberty before he did i've been taller than he has for pretty much as long as i've known him, my voice got low before his, but when i get back from summer he is taller than me by 1/2 an inch. me and was 2 inches shorter than me when school ended last year, voice became deeper than mine and mine was way deeper and his voice hadn't even cracked, had armpit hair which i don't even have yet, and even was starting to get some facial hair, so my question is, is it normal to start puberty before someone does but have them pass u?

its definitely possible. you probably started earlier, but your type of growth is more the "slow and steady" type. his is really fast, obviously. all guys are different, so its nothing to worry about :)

yeah dont worry to much about it. another thing that could contribute to your friends rapid progress in puberty is that you both have different genes. so your growth will be at different speeds and will end at different points in time.

Yes, its perfectly normal and OK. Puberty is different for every guy, he may have started later but his puberty may move more quickly than yours.

that same thing happened to me! i got really freaked out at first but its all part of the process. everyone develops at different rates. awesome username btw lol :)

it doesnt matter if he started before you and hes younger. He could be 2 years younger and it would still be normal. Every guy grows up differently puberty is different for all guys. Dont worry if you arent growing at the same speed as him. In time you will catch up.

If there's one thing you learn, puberty is unpredictable. Even though you started at different times, he's probably just going through it faster, and will probably end before you. Don't worry about it, you'll catch up!

This is completely normal. Your friend isnt even that much younger than you anyway, so it isnt a big deal. You're just going through puberty slowly while your friend went through iti pretty quickly

happened with my friend for 7 years now...im older than him by 2 months and hes taller and had a lower voice than i have...i know its natural but it still takes the piss
