There's something definitely wrong with this picture. If you can't see the obvious, there's three Justin Bieber topics and three Green Day topics. Can't we just sum up the whole band or singer in one thread? Well, guess what? Todays your lucky day!

Green Day is not revolutionary. They're a disgrace to the rock genre. They're mainstream and their so called "Powerful Political lyrics" are nothing compared to what you could hear in something like Immortal Technique. Oh, and if you are going to tell me that the band isn't a sellout thing and making money to just get rich as if they gave a shit about their fans, then here's my answer: Guitar Hero / Rock Band.

Justin Bieber. I actually like him. Not because of his music, the music sucks. But because for two reasons - 1) You're expected to hate him to be cool, so if I want to shock people, I'd have to like him. 2) He's making a shitload of money off of stupid preteen girls without even having to do anything that incredibly interesting or special. It's the fucking crime of the century. Why haven't you thought of it yet? But really, his music isn't any different then any of the past pop music that's been going on sense the early 1990's.
Also, what's the point of hating him when you know after he's gone from blowing all his money on a heroin addiction in about six years or just busy trying to make as much money as possible, you know someone else is going to probably just "replace him"? Some other sixteen year old teenage boy with a cute voice will just take his place. It's been happening for a while now.


Stop with the Justin Bieber and Green Day topics please. Let's make this one the last, or you could just post in the other ones, but STOP MAKING NEW ONES. It's like fucking spam! You're posting about the same thing over and over. I still don't get why those Green Day and Justin Bieber threads aren't just put together into one topic by now.

It's actually funny because I was in chat one day asking someone exactly what they didn't like about Bieber and they couldn't come up with one valid reason until someone else did. If you're going to hate someone at least be able to back it up when asked.

I was right when I said Justin Bieber and the onslaught of threads about him are the cancer of VT. Our music section's turned into a nonstop one-sided war against some pussy pop star who will never see any of this.

We also have an increasing amount of threads about mainstream music in general, which is interesting due to the angry replies they collect over the weeks.

lol. I'm just tired, to be honest. But it kinda just annoyed me, that you dug so far into when the threads were made, who made em, who bumped em. You wouldn't do that unless you were trying to fight for something, or defend something. I figured you took offense and wanted to be seen as "a good member" by clearing your name of all the Green Day threads.

I agree with you. It kind of reminds me how it's almost impossible to find a youtube video that doesn't talk about Bieber in SOME WAY in the comments. "Oh lol this is better than Bieber thumbs up if u agree" "Hahaha the dislike bar is the size of Justin Beiber's penis haaaaaaaahahahah".
