Hey!

So I recently discovered that I am a bisexual male. I have told my closest friends recently and they all accepted me and actually were even more happy to have me as a friend! My one close friend told me that she was bisexual as well!

I feel more comfortable with myself now that I have "come out of the closet". I still need to work on my image issues but that is a different story.

My problem is that I haven't told anyone in my family, and I don't think anyone suspects that I am bisexual or have feelings for men as well as women. They assume that I am straight (which I believe all parents do) adn will have a future wife and kids. ( P.S. I want kids in the future).

My question is the age old, how do I tell them? When? I know its probably when the time is right, but I want to tell them before I go away to college next year.

My mom says she will accept for whatever I am or do in life. So i dnt think she will have a problem, its just the rest of my family and especially my biological father ( i live with step -dad and mom)..

Also, do can other bi or gay members share how they came out? Straight people can comment as well.

THANX!

I'm not bi or gay so I can't share how I came out but..

When telling your family just tell them it's who you are and you can't change it.
I'm sure they'll be ok if you tell them you're sure that you are bi.
Most parents kick up a fuss at first saying that you're too young etc.
As time goes on they'll just look at you as they did before!

I hope this helped, If you want to chat you can pm me!
