The last three are part of my summer work for photo class. Sorry about the crappy quality, my scanner is out of commission, so they're pictures of pictures.

So you're using a film camera with black and white film? That's pretty unusual. As a matter of interest, what sort of camera is it?

It's a Minolta X-370, but I recently had to replace the lens with a Vivitar.

Well that's interesting, wouldnt have guessed those were SLR shots.
I'm going to be honest, because I hope that is how to be helpful, the focus on your shots isnt great. Dont know what system is used on that camera, but it doesnt seem the best.
If you want to stick with a manual focus SLR, which is an excellent way to learn technique, the Pentax K1000 is still about the best thing you can get. Otherwise I think maybe you should think about upgrading to a newer camera with AF.

Thanks everyone! :)
And Nick, thanks for the honesty, it's hard to find. I hate it when people make excuses for their art, but I swear the fault lies with my digital, not my Minolta. Replacing ol' Minnie would be hard, I've got quite an attachment to her. (Though I do want to try out one of my school's Pentax cameras at some point.)
I know I've got quite a bit of work to do with metering and focusing, as well as darkroom technique. But, hey, it's technically my first year of class, I've got time to learn.

I like 'em :)
Not really the first one though, but it would be an awesome pic if it had been focus on the water drops/splash..
