The Colony

Just watched last night's episode of The Colony and I can't wait til the season finale! Has anyone seen this show? It comes on every Tuesday at 10 pm eastern on Discovery Channel. The idea behind it is taking a group of people, and isolating them in the middle of nowhere- and see if they can rebuild a society. It's pretty cool- and it also begs the question- if society were to collapse, do you think you'd have enough skills to survive and rebuild?

I watch it when I get time on my hands. I was hoping when the model on the show got kidnapped she wouldn't come back.

Yeah she does seem pretty useless, doesn't she- basically just complaining about how much she hates it there. They wasted so many resources trying to get her back. They were dealt a major blow last time when Michael and Amber "died" from the virus.

I LOVE The Colony! Such a cool concept for a show.

I record it and watch every episode! I think it is a really cool idea and it is more realistic this year. Last year the colonists had a cheat code named JOHN V. I mean, the guy knew how to make ozone for christ's sake! This year the people are more run-of-the-mill, and I like that, plus they can explore more openly, vs last time they were very restricted. All in all, great show! And you can learn alot from it. Now I know how to produce electricity with an alternator.

I have heard very good things from one of my friends. I have never remembered to watch it though :/ And joining in on a show during a season finale isn't my thing.
