My Mom Didnt Wish Me A Happy Birthday?

Well, on Saturday, which was the 18th of September, my own mother didnt even wish me happy birthday?
She could have texted me, or even written on my Facebook wall, if she didnt want to tell me in person, but she didnt even do that!
My amazing boyfriend wished me a Happy Birthday.
My dad, and my sister both wished me a Happy Birthday.
And my mom basically just yelled, fought, and argued with me while she was around.
I will be the first to say we definitely dont have the best mother - daughter relationship, but I would still think that she would say something to me.
I know she didnt forget, because my sister's birthday was that Tuesday the 14th.
She went into her bedroom, woke her up, and told her happy birthday.
And they went to a party on my birthday, that I didnt go too, and mentioned that it was my birthday.
I dont really know what to think of it?
Should it not bother me?
Because, its kind of upsetting to me that she couldnt say two simple words.

Well not all mothers are great. I can understand why you were upset, sounds like pretty mean behaviour. My mum and I dont talk, she doesnt live at home any more and I dont have anything to do with her, but she still sends me a card on my birthday.

It must be a problem if you think your mom remembered that it is your birthday but haven't congratulated you on purpose. How was your relationship between your mum for 1-2 weeks?

If it bothers you that much, talk to her and ask what's up. Why she doesn't acknowledge your birthday? But like Nick said, not all mom's have the perfect behavior. They have mood changes just like everyone else, and maybe hers was just on your birthday. Don't sweat over it too much, unless you really wanted that happy birthday. If something like that happens again, definitely talk to her.
