today i was sitting in Critical thinking next to this girl, and when i looked at her hand...just randomly.. i saw like this scab in the shape of a cross which looked like it had been done with a blade or something. and it had foundation on it..obviously trying to cover it up. i tryed to ignoe it but then we had PE next and caus it was an indoor lesson we was all wearing shorts. we were the only two people there who were wearing jumpers, aswell as that she had lots of cuts looking the smae as before up her leg. they look like self harming marks.. should i talk to her?

How well do you know her?
And if you are concerened about her, then maybe you could ask her how she got the cuts.

mmm it's a hard one.
I think if you know her a little, then maybe ask her where she got them, and if she comes up with some lame arse excuse, tell her that you're not stupid and you know what she's been doing. But be gentle, let her know that she's not alone, and that people care about her.

Make sure you're absolutely sure she's been self harming before mentioning anyting.

Maybe you should try to get to know her better first? Because it does sound alot like she has been self harming. Once you know her better it would be alot less awkward to bring something like that up. As georgia said maybe ask her how she got the cuts and if she makes a stupid excuse then it's pretty obvious that it was self harm.

As terrible as this is to say- it seems like we are all looking to see scars in someone elses skin... Are we not?
It's a closure it's a... leverage Almost- we don't want to wish that on anyone but... At te same tine- we all want to know tangibly and visually thy were not alone.
