Let's all talk about our first periods!

Well for me...
My cousin was staying overnight. The day we were to take her back home, i felt something funny in my private area. So I sat on my bed and quickly pulled down my pants and underware to see what was up quickly so nobody would come in and catch it. So, there was brown stuff all over! LOTS of it! so i hurried up and rushed to the bathroom, and took my underwear off and kept my pants on, stupid move, i know, but i didnt wanna wear dirty panties. so i asked my cousin, "how did you know when you started your period?" and she told me her story and then i told her about what had just happened and she forced me to tell my stepmom, peggy. so, my cousin was the first to know about my period. then my step mom. but i was scared to tell my grandma which was odd cuz were super close but after 2 days i told her and she was mad at me for not telling her sooner, but she wasnt mad for long.

Well, I woke up on Friday the 13th of October in 2006, went to the bathroom, and saw that i had started my period. I already knew what it was when I saw it, and I didn't even freak out. . .I was qutie calm actually. But yeah, worst Friday the 13th of my life.

Year 7 sports day, that was a nightmare. I knew what it is was straight away so I wasn't scared, though it was a bit "woah" sorta thing.

i was 11 when i got my period. at first i didnt know what it was so i just changed my panties but when i noticed the new ones were also dirty i realized "my period". so i told my mom and that's it :)

I got mine in January of 2006, I was 12 and a half. It was a Sunday, I remember that, because I was hanging at home all day and wanted to know why I was so much moodier than usual. :P And when I went to the bathroom, I saw why.

Dear god it was miserable. 13 years old, December 19th, 2003. No, remembering the exact day isn't as creepy as it seems, just read:

After a bad night's sleep on my sister's futon, I wake up hardly being able to move. Get up, go to the bathroom, and surprise surprise. I woke my sister up, and she helped me out: gave me the hygiene talk, told me how to use pads and tampons and gave me a bottle of pain killers. It happened to be my dad's birthday, lol. And to make it worse, that was the day that my dad, my step mom and the time and I were leaving to go see a family friend in Falon, Nevada... driving. I had a headache the entire drive from not adjusting to the elevation changes along the way, had some flu-like illness and to make it even worse, my flow was bad enough to be classified as menorrhagia (flow of more than 80 ml (or 16 soaked sanitary products) per menstrual period is considered menorrhagia). Let's just say that the 3 days that we were in Nevada, I was bedridden, felt paralyzed from the pain, sick and had a fever the entire time.

It was a few months ago. I woke up, noticed it, freaked out and woke up my mom. I still don't get it totally regularly, and getting it sucks, I get really bad cramps. Oh well.

I was 13 and I don't remember the exact date but I got from school one day, I was feeling normal as usual, I had to go toilet and then I realized I had started... it was so depressing T_T I was really scared cause I didn't know how to tell my mum! So I told my sister instead :D

I first got mine when I was ten. Yep... I was the first of everyone in my "circle." Though the good thing about that is that when your friends get it, you watch them one by one coming to you for advice =P I remember it being the night before a booth sale for Girl Scout cookies. I got there and told my (closest) friends. I didn't freak out at all, really. I think I already knew about it... I don't really remember too much, way too long ago for my memory to recount in detail.

I got my first period on Christmas morning 2009, when I was 12. It sucked sooooo bad for it to come on Christmas lol. But I didn't get it again for 2 months after that.

i got mine in the 6th grade. i was one of the last ones to get their period with the kids i knew. but arghh periods are annoyin :/ i hated them the moment i got them. i never was like ahhhh blood in my undies?!! i knew what it was and i told my mamma, and she had some pads. then a few years latter i discovered tampons, and that hurt a lot because it didn't fit at first.. :(

It was March of 2005, I was 13 and in 7th grade. I went to use the bathoom and I found some brownish-red stuff in my panties, so I was pretty sure that my period had happened. I wasen't really scared, or anything, because I was kinda expecting it to happen sometime at that age. When I got home I told my sister about it. And then I told my dad. I would've just told my mom rather than him, but my mom was out of the state visiting her sister, so I had to wait to tell her. She was upset that it had happened when she wasen't there.

LOL. Well, mine was during the summer of my 5th grade... I hope that means that I was going to 6th lol.

Anyway, I was at Costco really, and just decided to go to the bathroom, and wallah. I was bleeding. At first, I was nervous, since I wasn't sure if I had injured myself internally after a heated basketball camp, but later on it was confirmed that I started my period there. LOL. Weirdest thing probably was that my mom bought a family pack of pads... well. It was Costco.

I got mine on my 12th Birthday. I woke up and was all happy. I went to the bathroom and saw that I had started and I was thinking wow! This must by my bodies way of saying Happy 12th Birthday! It was awful lol
