Im definatly not the handsomest guy at my school but im not the ugliest either.

anyways. so lately ive been acting extra nice and getting things like notes and journals and other crap for a bunch of girls and one in particular but jokingly i complain about never getting any thanks and one of the girls asks me if i wanna go out and i say yes but then she says no. im confused and just want a girlfriend but i dont know how to gain her affection or even how to get to be good friends:(

Why did she even ask you out in the first place if she was going to say no? That's sort of dumb. I think she's just teasing you, either that or she got zapped... or whatever that game is called where a friend writes the name of a person of the opposite sex on the palm of your hand and declares you can't look at it until a certain time and if you look before that time then you have to ask out that person, but as a joke.

Well you know, you don't need a girlfriend to be happy, or to change the way you think about yourself. The girl has probably say that you were upset, and asked you out as a joke, and this happens a lot, and it's sad that it does. My advice would be to just go with the flow, and get a girlfriend when you can, not when you want, wait for it. Relationships are suppose to be special anyways, so buying for a bunch of girls really isn't a good idea.
