Erection without arousal?

Certain visual stimulus(like seeing a body type I would not consider attractive) will get me "up" but not actually make me aroused or horny ect. I always thought that was sorta odd since the two go hand in hand and I don't have this issue with visual stimulus in general.

Not always. When you're going through puberty you're going to get those random erections. You're not always going to feel aroused when you get them, and most of the time they can be quite a pain.

They aren't completely random. They come when I see skimpily dressed girls that are completely not my type and I don't consider attractive at all. But I get an erection anyway.

The obvious answer would be that I don't know myself as well as I think! But its like a difference of night and day when I see a girl im attracted to and one that simply results in an errection.

Luckily its limited to girls. If it wasnt I would drive myself nuts worrying about it. Its always been like this-all girls give a boner but only some are actually attractive- but it just started bugging me lately for some reason. I was afraid I had been walling myself off or something like that.
