Yesterday, while masturbating, my penis got so hard it actually started to hurt. I have never had this happen before, no matter how horny I was. Anyway, it felt weird. I would most likely say either a muscle was pulled, or strained and now it's recovering. Give it a couple days. Also, you might've been growing a lot, depending on your age.
