I'm trying to sell my first gen iPod touch on eBay for $75. There's 3 days left and still no bids. I'm starting to get worried about this.

Does VT have any tips for selling on eBay? Should I just be patient and wait? I uploaded a much better picture today and made the description more detailed, hopefully that'll catch someone's eye — especially since I saw another used 1st gen starting at over $80 with bids.

Just give it time. Generally the last day or so of an auction the bids start picking up.

First Gen iPod Touch probably won't sell for 75 bucks unless the buyer really wants one(which there is a high chance of that happening). So don't expect any takers until the last few hours. Whenever I auction something on ebay I put it on 24 hours and i get good responses.

Well, I'm gonna be patient and see... I decided to go with eBay's recommended price, which was $81, and drop it $6 for shipping.

I'm sure someone will bid.

You probably should have started it off lower and let it rise to that amount. Also a Buy It Now option is good.

yea if you do not like the bid so far make another acount and make sure its ur item and bid it up but dont bid it up like an greedy asshole or sombody will know ur doing it or one of ur buds are biding for you. ;)

People usually don't bid that quickly. People will usually bid on the last seconds to "snipe" in a final bid and win the auction.

Yeah I know, too many times I've lost out on great deals because of that.
