This x9001.
SimCity is pwnage, especially for a game from 2004. Flight Simulator X is also extremely good.

Rome Total War. So amazing. You have no idea.
And this. Creative Assembly is also one of my favorites. I love how they do it in Gaul, holding massacres in every town you conquer, especially in Rome, where they hold every juicy slaves and consuls. Nothing beats using Macedon and conquering the west instead. :D (Of course, with an awesome mod called Roma Surrectum)

You should stop playing FPS games - these things will not make you more focused, attentive, alert and smart.
In fact, these thing(FPS) will make you more stupid, inert and in crappier mood than ever before. This is the main reason why the gaming geeks of today aren't like the gaming geeks from the days of yore.
Start playing RTS, TBS, RTT, TTB, RPG, TRPGs Moar! There is a whole new universe behind the gates of Mordor.
Play chess with the computer - this will keep your high-voltage brain running.
Or try doing some sudoku, will yah! :yeah:
I haven't heard of that game before. Right now I'm installing Medieval II total war. :D
Medieval is a classic 2K game. A delicious conglomerate of RTT & TBS. Sequels are always improved(well, not always). Good pick there.

You haven't played that? Man, that's a DOS gem. :yummy:

I love sooo many games... I'm a big star wars fan, and have almost all of the games... with the nice Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series.. also I must agree with the RTS lovers... RTS's are truly what sets the PC apart from the console
