I try my best to just consider the source and then I imagine this tiny little brain crammed into a peanut shell and well, that's the source lol. Let's face it, it takes a certain amount of intelligence to show compassion, tolerance, acceptance and love for your fellow man/woman/or child and it takes intelligence to realize that we're all created equal in Gods eyes so why lose any sleep over a pea brain and trust me, our town is full of them.

I laugh my ass off, because why am i going to let what someone says AFFECT me??? I am who I am, just because I'm different, they think it's cool to lower themselves? That's their deal not mine. I let them say whatever. I get a kick out of it.

It hurts, to say the least- though I hear it less often than I did when I was in middle school. I used to let it bother me big time- once even got in a fight over it. But now I do my best to ignore it- as Billy said, they're obviously not very intelligent- and that's the thought that keeps me from reacting very strong against it.

Words only have as much power as you give them and if you don't want to be hurt by a word don't let it hurt you. You still might feel something from it but best to not let it show and milk that cow for all it's worth. Besides once you get out of that high school bullshit you're going into a world where they care less about your sexuality and more about what you can do for them.

Depending on my mood.. I'll either get angry and yell at them, point out their flaws
or just not acknowledge it

smile politely and pick at their own underlying uncertainty of their sexuality, making them uncomfortable and causing them to lash out, then laugh my ass off
