DNA profiling is used to form a DNA database a controversial topic. People are happy when it is just criminals. Look to the future, DNA profiling will eventually lead to the implementation of a nationwide database for all citizens. So if this comes through it has many dire implications for those in society that may be carrying a genetic disease that will kill them as the will be refused loans and many other things. It is an invasion of privacy but then many support the idea. What is your take on this?

It would be an interesting project, however I don't know the feasibility of mandating a sample of everyone's DNA. It wouldn't be easy to do such a thing. I doubt such a system would be created without privacy groups lobbying government to regulate it properly either.

What would be the purpose of a DNA database? Would it help find missing people? Would it be related to disease research?

i do not want the government to have my DNA, ever. It is unmoral and just scary that a government may have my DNA when i have done nothing wrong. The things that they can do with dna scares me. If for example, you where to become a resitance leader to a renegade government, they could tailor make a disease just for you, kill you instantly.

Things like this are examples of governments going TOO far in being a government. What does DNA have to do with running a country?

It does help in keeping people managed, in terms of micromanagement. It would be great, as long as they keep the information confidential to anyone but the organization bureau that will be implemented too. Look at the future in front of us, with cars running on rocks and balloons. It will unfortunately trigger another wave of protests as it is really, a large risk especially for privacy and to human life, like you said a virus could be tailored unique to let's say a president. Then they could not just kill, but kill with impunity. Prepare for the future death note, as it subtly goes by.

I would never agree with this if its in the terms of using governments that exist today.
