So, going to high school is the first revolutionary point in your life, brand new school, brand new friends, brand new teachers...

So, my school officially starts tomorrow, and well,
When we were so little it was easy to make friendships and relatioships, nobody cared for appereance.
But know, since I am heavy and tall, I think I kinda look scary from outside, and my voice is too thick ( is that the word ? ) and I don't know
The school I am going, the prep classes are made of a total 130 student and there are many friend groups here, like 10 students came from the same school, 8 students came from the same neighborhood etc...
My mum said "You know what suits you? Find a German girl from 9th grade ( the school where I am going is a german high school ) to be your gf. It is high school age now, you gotta find a gf for yourself" And I hate it when my parents say that because I know that I am not handsome and nobody would wnat me.
Well I am missing the point, of course it is actually ımpossible to give tıps how to make a frıend (because everyone has his/her own ways) but at least can you peple tell me how NOT to screw up ?

Be yourself mate. I'm guessing you like Assassin's Creed, from your avatar, and I know video games with some guys can be a good common ground to start with. Don't be an asshole is another good thing you could try. Don't be an ass to anybody. If some "unpopular" people want to talk to you, talk to them. Don't think that since most people laugh and make fun of them, that you will be cooler if you do the same. Also, being "heavy and tall" as you put it, doesn't sound like too much of a bad thing. Try being the kid in the grade who looks like he should be in middle school. I'm sure you won't have too many problems making friends if you just are a kind and caring individual (and I say individual, because you shouldn't change to fit in with others).

Be yourself. People who become your mates after seeing you as yourself are people who really care for you.

when you first start talking to some people dont reveil a whole bunch of deep stuff about you right away. wait to get to know some of the people to be able to tell who you can trust with personal stuff. just be yourself, but also you know, you should just go up to a person that seems to be the kind of person you would hang out with and be like "hey would you wanna talk and get to know each other"
