So, basically, officially the Church of Latter-Day Saints believes that masturbation is a sin. However, they won't really do anything to you unless you try to go on a mission. They think that it is detrimental to spirituality.

Im a mormon and its not against our religion. It is a sin but you wont be cast out or something like that. I do it and i still a member.

It isnt against their religion but it is a sin to them but they do it anyway.

Almost all religions think of masturbation as a sin but they are not going excommunicate you for it. the reason is that in religion the pleasures of sex should only be felt when making a baby this is because the religions believe that you have that pleasure because you are bringing more people to G-d
