well i've only done it once but i'll try =/
as far as i can tell its not physically addicting although any drug can be emotnally addictive,
and yes its pretty damaging, even if you do it once you COULD have acid flashback at any given moment up to like ten years after you did it, although its not common. and it could give you seisours, chemical drugs can do that

its like out of no where you can start freaking out, you wont relize where you are or anything, like you'll start seeing what you saw when you did acid all teh scary shit, my teacher had an acid flash back during class, it was scary

I'm trying to get some acid. I guess I can tell you some stuff about it from talking with friends who have done it. Basically you see stuff that isnt there, some objects leave a light trail behind, you can see moving geometric figures on the walls. It's not that damaging really. Never heard of an acid flashback... Theres gos potential for a bad trip though if your emotions arent right when you take it. If your in a gloomy kind of setting you are more likely to have a bad trip than when your in a sunny, happier setting.

Only take one tab, even if you have waited like an hour and feel nothing, be patient. If you can't feel anything after two hours + then consider taking another. Acid can take a long time to kick in.
Acid is not physically addictive, but can of course be mentally addictive like any substance.
Effects include distorted senses, high energy, hallucinations, weird thoughts on the good side. On the bad side: body tension, sweating, confusion, paranoia and possible flash-backs later on in life.
Flash backs are very rare though and usually only occur in regular users/people who take very high doses.
You won't experience all those effects, generally just some visuals, strange thoughts and maybe a bit of sweating.
If you do choose to do Acid, have fun and be safe, never trip alone.

There were a hell of a lot of myths put into circulation in the late 60s and through the 70s about acid "going to the base of your spinal cord and fucking you up." It doesn't. The real problem behind LSD is HPPD. Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder. This is when you have damaged your brain from long-term abuse of hallucinogens (LSD, mushrooms, etc).

A flashback could happen anytime after abusing LSD (at least after the metabolites leave your body). Of course, the more you've abused will result in a higher chance of a flashback. Even one high dose could be responsible for a flashback many, many years down the road. Nobody's sure what triggers flashbacks.

As a rule of thumb, when you try acid for the first time or when you're trying a new batch of acid, start with one hit. I'm usually peaking 2 hours after dosing. I've tripped alone twice, but I'm pretty experienced with psychedelics and keeping control when under the influence. I recommend a trip-sitter. "Seeing stuff that isn't there" is not very descriptive. You don't see pink cows and shit like that. More often you see distortions in faces, walls, vivid colors, euphoria, stimulation, increased blood pressure, dilated pupils, and time dilation. After dosing, I'm usually high for about 8 hours. depends on the form, well i have only seen acid in blotter/tabs around here. but it can be in pill form or just in liquid you can drop on sugarcubes, ect.

you suck on the tab, getting all of the cid outta it and can swallow if you want to.

but mrojas i reaaally dont recommed doing acid as your first hallucinagen. shrooms are less intense (from what iv heard) so maybe start with those or salvia. although salvia cant really be compared, and im guessing shrooms on some levels.

There are two types of hallucinations, closed eye and open eye and I think the names are fairly self-explanatory..
Its easier to get closed eye, open eye require a stronger dose usually.

This is going to sound awful, but how do you go about getting drugs? I only want to try acid, and I asked to make sure it wasnt addictive. I dont want to become a pothead or a druggie, just need something to get my mind off my ever persistant suicidal and depressing thoughts...anything.

Ive tooken acid trips before. Have you smoked weed before, if you haven't, I don't know if you'll be ready yet

I had a bad trip on my 1st REAL experience (1st times tripped but wasn't as big), anyways, you should try smoking pot a few times, get yourself ready for what will come on if you take the acid.

Trust me, you don't want to be drafted in to one. From what I can remember I tooka high dose(5 tabs), I forgotten I had taken the trips at all, I thought i was going crazy and was gonna die if I didn't kill myself first. So yeah, just be ready for it,

Plus bad trip will fry your brain, not always

and also it wasnt that much, 5 tabs of not weak but not extremely strong acid, You can never take "too much" acid, My fr4iend ben took a strip of 10 incredible strong ones, I forget what they were called Purple Amba or something(dont think it was that), and he tripped hard but didn't manage to become a bad trip
